Notice is hereby given that the Plaintiff withdraws this suit on the following terms, having been consented to by the Defendant
viz
The Defendant admits that he made the statement to the Honorable Francis Bulkeley Johnson as repeated by the said Honorable Francis Bulkeley Johnson which is part set forth in the Plaintiff's Petition and now retracts the same and says the same is untrue.
The Defendant has apologised to the Plaintiff for having made the said statement to the said Honorable Francis Bulkeley Johnson.
