24th October, of the nature of the allegations made by Dr Eitel in His Excellency's name, first intimation was given to the Public, that Dr Eitel no longer continued to perform the duties of Private Secretary, was a notification in the Government Gazette of the 19th November, wherein it is stated that Dr Eitel's resignation was accepted, as from the 15th November. In the same Gazette, there appears a notice of the appointment of ... to Eitel to the post of Inspector of the Central School, and in the Gazette of the 26th November, his appointment to the important and responsible office of Supervisor of the staff of Interpreters and Translator, is announced.
