I would add that I agree with the view attaches to Morphuson and if the Governor being of opinion that the practice is unfit for inquiry might either the Legislation or Executive Council (see his Confidential despatch 2503) - might wish to have proposed to Morpharm to bring it before the Executive Council.

Perhaps I ought to state more fully than I did in my previous minute why I attached (it may be wrongly) no importance to the point whether the catalogue was that of the Musée Privée.
De Eitel told Mr Johnson that the Servant found Mr Raglan endeavouring to conceal the book. I do not think that this is contradicted
D'Eitel avoided replying Mr Johnson's question whether Lady Hennessy was present, but the Governor, in his private letter to Lord Kimberley of the 27th of July says that Mr Hayllar was excluded from Government House for bringing to his notice a statement and that house and exhibiting "to a great extent in a book describing ... much the disgust of Lady Hennessy" (Lady ... in question).
