8. The Contractor shall remove daily in covered buckets of approved pattern marked G.S.C. and numbered consecutively, all the night soil and urine from all the public latrines now existing in Victoria, and from such as may be erected during the term of his Contract, also from all the Civil Public Buildings, temporary as well as permanent, within the City of Victoria, and he shall also remove the manure from all stables belonging to the Civil Public Buildings, and all refuse and night soil from the markets. Provided always that in regard to the night soil from Public Latrines, kept by private persons, the said Contractor shall not have to his own use such night soil, but shall receive from each Licensee three cents for each picul conveyed from the Latrine to Lap-sap-wan.

9. The Contractor shall, within such hours as may be directed, empty and thoroughly clean and cleanse out every day all the existing public dust bins, or such additional dust bins as may be constructed during the term of his Contract, or such carts as may be stationed and used as public dust bins, carefully removing their contents to the dust boats stationed along the Praya. 所有糞尿一概用桶裝該承充人每日要將本港內各公廁及國家文官公署與各公家屋宇內之糞尿用蓋的桶裝載清楚。凡公廁及公家屋宇內所有馬房內之糞樣亦須由該承充人一體辦理。至公署公家屋宇內之糞尿無論何時一概歸該承充人運出。桶身要寫出G.S.C.並須順序編號。凡街市內污水糞遺物等亦視同一律。凡該等公廁係屬民間所設者則為其挑出之糞尿不歸該承充人所有,但須將糞尿由厠坑運至攙揉灣,每擔一百斤為額,其每擔工錢可向該管之人討取三仙。
