Arriving in the Colony, I, after 2 years, obtained a power of Attorney and subsequently made an application to the Colonial Secretary of the Colony praying that my pension and other personal effects be transferred to London. I would therefore esteem a very high favor if you would assist me so that I may be able to draw my pension in London. I also beg to state that I have no pension papers, only the discharge.

Your obedient servant,

Town Freeman, 4 B.C.33, Pensioner.

The application of April last is granted. I now wish to know what date I can present myself at the Colonial Office.
