With reference to Mr. Brawston's letter of the 3rd October last relative to certain boring operations to be undertaken in connection with the Lytton Water Works at Hong Kong, I have the honour to report that Mr. Mawlinson, C. E. has furnished us with a specification of the work to be done, and with a list of firms and contractors to whom he recommends that invitations to tender should be sent.
