M: Bramaton
The Second Section
M: Chadwick's agreement in clearly mis does not express what is counted: This must have been overlooked when the draft for consideration was sent to the Co. authorsing them to amend it & at the same time cubs.-dying M: Chadwick's instructions, & have shown it to Capt. Ommanay.
There appears to be no necessity to copy this letter to the C.P.L.
Yes - M. Chadwick has not despatched what lines he is to work on.

M. Cleverley, the Colonial Engineer who laid out the city in 1844, called on me this morning. He is going out on private business and would be of service to this office.
I have mentioned his name to Mr. Chadwick's & Vice Versa, & think that they may gain some information should they be placed officially in communication or should Mr. Cleverley be asked to give Mr. Chadwick any information he may require about the drainage of the town & ventilation.
