As I consider the evidence
amply sufficient had the crime
been
committed within the
Colony
to necessitate the
Committal
of
the
prisoners for trial at the
Supreme Court, and
as I think
under the
treaty
the
accused in
the case should be rendited, I
have committed them to Gaol
pending the receipt of
an Order
from His Excellency the Governor
as
to the proper disposal
of
the provisions
of
Ordinance
2 of 1850 section.
I have the honour to be,
Sir
Your most Obedient Servant
(Signed) M.S. Jonochy
Acting Police Magistrate
