I observe that the Deputy Superintendent does not recommend this application, probably because this Buyer is applying for leave when he has been appointed to a post under the Government elsewhere.
(a) Has Mr Wagner accepted the appointment at Bhamo or not?
(b) The Secretary of State has sanctioned his retirement from this colony. How does this affect his present appointment?
