the difficulty of fixing suitable site.

In November last

the Surveyor General in a

letter (copy enclosed) suggested

two sites,

one on inland lot

No 803 and the other on the

site which was cleared for the New Hospital.

Governor

Stennessy

referred this suggestion to a Board consisting of the Senior Naval Medical Officer and the Senior Officer of the Army Medical Department. Enclosed is a

copy of their report in which they recommend the building of

Asylum

on

Inland Lot 803. Since then,

the

in the

absence of the Governor, I am not able to report that any further steps have been taken in the matter.
