Executive Council made certain changes in the work of the officers of that Court.
2. The notification which I have the honour to inclose, shows the nature of those changes and I trust they will meet with Your Lordship's approval.
23. The Postmaster General informed me that he could spare the services of Mr. I. Barff, Assistant Postmaster General, and recommended the appointment of Mr. José Gabriel da Rocha, the senior clerk and accountant in his department, as Acting Assistant Postmaster General.
Your Lordship is no doubt aware that Mr. Barff has already been acting for some time in the Supreme Court as accountant and performing his own duties as Assistant Postmaster General.
I have the honour to be, My Lord, Your Lordship's Most Obedient Humble Servant,
