Mr. Price has just been here, & will report in a very few days - he is in communication with the Astronomer Royal over the Astronomical half of the scheme, which is entrusted to him.

Should we not send it officially & ask Astronomer Royal for his opinion on it from us?
It strikes me that the proposed scheme is much larger than referred, & the instruments so delicate that a little shaking may jeopardise their working - Be this as it may, we must take care that the grant of $10,000 authorised is not exhausted by building, and our $30,000 grant is not forced to complete it.
