in my opinion is only admissible when the site on which the building is to be erected
is too small to allow of their being placed in separate and detached buildings (for example) in the Central Fire Brigade Station,
somewhat similar arrangement was adopted as the space was too limited to allow of the construction
of the Bathrooms, closets, urinals &c in the main Building and on the same level as the Barrack rooms &c.
Such arrangement is most costly on account of the Bath rooms, closets, stores, cells &c being
at the end of the Bathrooms being detached; consequently the building in which they are placed is always wet and dirty, the smell at times being very disagreeable and the wood work although only a few years old is...
