11. Public Urinal in the principal thoroughfares of the City.
This provides for the purchase and freight from England of 4 galvanized water untuvial and fittings, and for constructing 200 urinals on the principal thoroughfares of the City. The number may be increased if they are found to be of public convenience.
12. Re vote. Conversion of Lock into General Hospital 15,000
This project approved by the Secretary of State and the total cost of which is $30,000 consists of the adaptation of the present Lock Buildings to General Hospital use by the extension of the second storey, the addition of a new outbuilding, and rearrangement of the old. The first instalment of $18,700 was voted in the supplementary estimates of 1880.
Note. The estimate of $30,000 does not include a detached residence for the superintendent.
13. Maintenance of Praya Wall -
This provides for the maintenance and incidental repairs to the Praya wall in front of the City and for dredging and removing the sand from the sewer outlets.
