As regards the Water
supply, I have nothing to add to what I

my despatch No. 49 of the 29th of April and No. 90 of the 15th of June, 1881. Your Lordship will see that the unofficial members of Council expressed their opinions as to the advantage of utilizing by a system of tanks the water that flows away along the Northern slopes of the hills above the Town; and they also seemed to think that Mr. Price's scheme
