(b) But apart from this legal difference, the Governor is of opinion that if your duties as Colonial Surgeon were properly performed, they could not admit of your devoting sufficient attention to the other office!

(c) Furthermore the Governor regrets that you have raised the question as to the mode in which, as Colonial Surgeon, you have done sanitary work for several years past, as His Excellency had, on more than one occasion to notice the insanitary state of the Gaol - the principal public institution for the sanitation of which, as Colonial Surgeon, you are responsible,

and His Excellency also had to correct the insanitary conditions you had recommended or allowed in connexion with other Government buildings.
