# Secretariat

Instead of granting a personal allowance to the Headmaster of the Central School, it was decided to fix his salary at $2450 per annum; the mistake originated in the fact that the late Headmaster, Stewart, received a personal increase to his salary of $720, which will not be continued to his successor.

Dad Kimberley regrets that the mistake should have been made and trusts that it will be possible to secure the services of a competent man on the lower salary of $2400.

You are probably aware that the duties of Schools Inspector in Victoria have been separated from those of Headmaster of the Central School and that the former are now discharged by Dr. Eitel.
