Possibly the Acting Surveyor General's letters, &c, and Our Papers of 7th July, which I refer to the Attorney General
on the 5th of July / I can see in reply be my minute of that date by the Attorney General)
will suffice for My Lord to base an opinion upon in considering the Memorial.

The Governor's minute of the 3rd only did not appear to me to require a reply, presuming the papers were sent for the purposes of affording me information with respect to certain proceedings threatened or in progress by the Government.
Correspondence sent to the Colonial Secretary's Office on the 12th, when engaging that it be sent to him, and the papers to me, if proper, furnished a reply.
