Jam of opinion that the vacancy created by the resignation of Lieutenant Bux ton has been filled up by Mr. Merean, who is a competent judge as regards the Hindustani and Bengali dialects, that Mr. Merean is competent to interpret in these dialects. Jamner Jr. Settis exie and beg to recommend Mr. Merean for permanent appointment as Hindustani and Bengali Interpreter to the Supreme Court.
