In a conversation I had lately with His Excellency about the position and the remuneration of the staff of Interpreters of the Supreme Court, I learned that these matters form the subject of a despatch His Excellency is preparing to send to the Right Honorable, the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
I shall be glad to be allowed before the despatch leaves to call His Excellency's attention to a very important point. I mean the very inadequate salaries provided.
