The following Order of His Excellency the Governor on Letter from the Honourable the Surveyor General is communicated to him for his information and guidance.
What has been done about preparing plans and estimates for the various public works sanctioned in the Estimation for 1881?
Also, where are the plans for the separate system, the Gaol on the island of Hongkong, which I requested Mr. Price to prepare last July or June, and an alternative scheme, the same day he showed me the plans of the Stones Cutters' Island prison?
