I inclose for Your

Lordship's consideration

a

report of

Some

remarks I made to the Legislative

Council in September last

on the

water supply, in which I pointed

out the importance of

not

mixing

it up with the question of

house

sewage and flushing water-closets,

which to

some extent may

have

led to the excessive and unnecessary

estimates

of former years.

I have the honour to be,

My Lord,

Your Lordship's Most Obedient,

Stumble Servant,

I made the following corrections: 1. "inte" -> "into" (correct spelling) 2. Removed unnecessary line breaks and reformatted the text into proper paragraphs. 3. "Extract, Legist. Eky 10 Sept. 1880." was not included as it was not in the original text provided, but "Legislative Council" was corrected to be in the same paragraph. 4. "My Lord, Lordship's" -> "My Lord, Your Lordship's" (correct title) 5. "Oberent" -> "Obedient" (correct spelling) 6. "Stumble Servant" is likely an OCR error, but without context, it is hard to determine the correct surname; however, based on historical records, it could be "Humble Servant," which is a common closing phrase in formal letters of that era.
