I have hitherto left you alone but am now directed by His Excellency the Governor to inform you that on Tuesday next, the 21st instant at half past two o'clock, P.M., the question whether you shall be suspended from your office will be brought before the Executive Council, and that you must then defend yourself before the Council in writing.
