A. C. S.0. A: 2930 of 1000.

Minute by the Attorney General.

The deficiencies in this case seem to have arisen at the same time as those to which the former papers relate and may possibly be attributable to the same cause.

I do not understand from the report that the Farquharson considers that the ticking of the items so that they came to be passed over by the auditor was the work of Hannen.

& if it were proud to be so there would be a serious imputation against him.

Apart from this the only thing to be done seems to be to require Hannen to pay up the deficiency forthwith.
