The Hewable Sir John Bradford
has been in the Service of the Colony for....

(viz. from 22th April 1861 to 11th April 1881)
3rd. That in the course of that Service he has been absent on leave on several occasions, at the dates
and for the terms specified below, viz. :——
1st--For

Months beginning on
4th April 1865
and ending on 21st May 1866, 4 days additional being without pay.
2nd. For 4 months beginning on 27th July, and ending on
5th December 1869
3rd. For 10 months beginning on 18th January 1873
and ending on the 10th November 1873, 24 days additional being within leave.
4th. For 10 months beginning from 4th March 1878 to 1st January 1879 on vacation, and from 7th January 1888 to 1st January 1879 on half pay.
4th. That provision has been made for the due execution of Sir John Bradford's
Office during his absence by
the appointment of Mr. Justice Doustier..
