9 concur in the Inspector's recommendation, and would be glad if Your Lordship would authorize me to make the following modification in the Grant-in-Aid Scheme, viz: to substitute, in place of Rule No 14 as it stands in the present Scheme, the following Rule:-
14. The basis of examination will be, as regards each school two hundred working days of the year, and as regards each scholar one hundred and sixty daily attendances, of not less than four hours each, at instruction in the subjects of the several standards.
