Agents in which he complains that his position is affected.

AA

A surety is injuriously affected by reason that Mr Gibbons has not that control over his department that his position entitles him to and B. that papers are removed from his custody so that he cannot produce original documents when submitting his accounts to the Auditor for examination.

It being impossible for me to report without reference first to the Bond and secondly to the facts alleged by Mr Gibbons, you had the goodness to furnish a copy of the Bond to me, although the matter is so serious.

Copy of his letter to McGibbons is also furnished. Mr Thomson states that his letters to Mr Gibbons were private and that copies were drafts.

If the statements he made were substantial, he must be able to repeat them to the Crown Agents. The extract from Gibson's letter furnished by W. U. Thomson cannot be had, I presume, without remarks on the letter.

It can have been asked for from His Excellency.

With regard to complaint A, I never heard of any complaint.
