"I have the honor, by desire of the Governor, to enclose a copy of a letter,
from McGibbons dated the 17th instant, inquiring whether the decision as to correspondence respecting Expense allowance work extends to other correspondence,
claiming remuneration as Registrar of Companies under Ordinance No. 1 of 1865.

I am to request your Honor to ascertain from Mr. Gibbons what H.E. is to understand by the words "and other correspondence"; in that case I must ask, as in the other case, that the matter be referred for decision to the Colonial Office.
