1. It is my invariable practice up to that time to have the applicants before me unless represented by a Solicitor.
H Gibbons said he did not know that he might bring him into Chambers. He never asked. I am sorry to report that the deadlock still exists. I hoped that all personal grounds of objection to appear in Chambers would be removed by my acting in your place and I hoped the personal expression of my opinion that the place of hearing is discretionary, as under limitation with the Judge, would relieve the Registrar from objections on the ground of principle, to have done that which our well-intentioned efforts have failed to achieve.
