Governor though from has not yet reported the vacancy; a letter recently received stating that a Mr Murray had resigned a post of this kind, there is reason to think that such a vacancy exists.

Governor has not yet reported any vacancy of the kind referred to but his name will be noted in case of some such post becoming vacant. Either in Hong Kong or some other Colony.
I suppose he would not take the Falkland Islands Schoolmastership.
