would be requisite for Hong Kong and I find that the cost
would be about £11.50
With them in use it would be next to
impossible for any confusion to be created and the system of Audit now adopted by the officers of Her Majesty's Treasury
could without inconvenience
be adopted in the
Colony
or at a small cost
I would further beg to suggest that a few
books of practice at a cost of under £10 should be allowed I have in my own
library all the books of practice in
ordinary use which I propose to take with me, but there
are some decisions published (such as
Jeton
on
Decrees) which
I assume can hardly have reached the Colony and could
undoubtedly be of great advantage to the court
