I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 3rd inst.: relative to the Ordinance passed by the Legislative Council at Hong Kong on the 6th November last, whereby the provisions of Ordinance No 1 of 1875, for providing means for enforcing discipline in the Police Force in Hong Kong, were extended to the other Naval Establishments in the Colony.
