The Claim? I believe the Governor is correct in stating that police pensions are not forwarded in the ordinary manner for approval to this office.

The Crown Agents should receive instructions with regard to the necessary procedure.

These enclosures need not have been sent, but Sir. J. Hennessy perhaps wished to discredit Mr Wodehouse who possibly did not see the papers again.
