Attending at Land Office for Certificate of registered Writing to Auctioneer with Particulars of Sale and thereon, copy & service.
27 Attending Auctioneer as requested. Chinese translation of Particulars for insertion in Chinese papers. Making Chinese translations thereof.

28 Attending receipt from Messrs. Brereton & Mottan of Judge's Summons for order prohibiting sale. Attending receipt of Affidavit from them in support of Summons.
Attending Mr. Wotton on behalf of some creditors for order to stop sale. Sale was not to the advantage of the life interest in the ground Estate. Mr. Hatton undertook to call a meeting of Creditors & Assignees, & thereupon arranged that an order to stay sale was made so as to relieve the Assignee.
