that letter be added that until Official Assignee should be duly appointed, the rights in the several estates must remain in abeyance.

Notwithstanding, wo Gibbons' statement in his letter of the 13th of May to you (including that be addressed to the Official Assignee in certain Bankruptcies re Vaucher and another, in which he specified) he took it upon him in August to act as being Official Assignee in that Bankruptcy concerned of Creditors a red Dividend and then our last meeting was declared on the 9th of August in a petition in which he described himself Official Assignee he asked the Court for a warrant to authorise him to draw out of the Treasury $3669.25 in that Bankruptcy.

It was anted without letting time to examine the Petition and to grant the warrant on the ground that the dividend could not otherwise be paid at an early day which he had fixed for the purpose.

Now here wo Gibbons on the 13th of May asserts the necessity of Ordinance to constitute him to be Official Assignee but in August he acted and put himself forward to the Court as being absolutely Official Assignee and expecting to be paid to him Official Assignee. If such statement is true the other is not. What there is the value -- 20.
