Yen are as follow:-

The blanks for this coin after being

cut out in the Rolling Department are delivered to the Weighing Department where they are each weighed singly by

automatic balances checked by hand weighers. By this operation they are divided into three classes, viz:-

Heavy Blanks

Light

Blanks of correct weight.

The heavy blanks are sent to a machine by which thin parings are removed from

edges and thus weights reduced. The pared blanks are then weighed again

as above.
