I observe in the Supplementary Estimate which accompanies the Ordinance a vote of $2809 for printing 300 copies of the Report on Contagious Diseases. It seems to me a large sum for the work, and indeed the whole cost of public printing in Hong Kong compares, at first sight, unfavourably with that in other Colonies. The Estimate for printing for this year is $90750,
