An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hong-kong, with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof, to authorize the Appropria-tion of a Supplementary Sum of Fifty-one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy-seven Dollars and Ninety Cents to defray the Charges of the Year 1879.

provision for the public service of the Colony for the year 1879, in addition to the charge upon the revenuo for the service of the said year already provided for in the Estimates submitted to the Legislative Council: Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:--
I. A sum of fifty-one thousand seven hundred and seventy-seven dollars and ninery cents shall be and the same is hereby charged upon the revenue of this Colony for the service of the year 1879, the said sum so charged being expended as bereinafter specified; that is to say:---
$ Governor, 0. Colonial Secretary, 3,154.24 Auditor General, 717.08 Judicial, 2,957.44 Medical, 2,761.99 ESTABLISHMENTS.785.79 Total Establishments, $10,376.54 SERVICES EXCLUSIVE OF ESTABLISHMENTS. Judicial, 66.90 Police Magistrates, 38.36 Gaol, 2,355.90 3,623.41 184.35 12,539.61 Supplercent- Estimates, 187 Fire Brigade, Transport, Works and Buildings, 6,029.81 H Roads, Streets, and Bridges, 11,076.07 Miscellaneous Services, 80.00 Land and Houses purchased, 5,406.95 Military Contribution, Total exclusive of Establishinents, $41,401.36 Total, $51,777.90Pussed the Legislative Council of flongkong, this 31st day of August, 1890,
