I have the honour to convey to you Her Majesty's gracious confirmation and allowance of the Ordinance No. 8 of 1880, of the Legislature of Hong Kong entitled An ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding Eight hundred and Forty thousand, Eight hundred and Forty Dollars to the Public Service of the Year 1881.
