At the present moment is the question of how to deal with the increasing incidence of poverty in the colony. As I have already said, most of the crime arises directly from it is poverty, and, in this direction too, prevention would be much better than cure.
I am glad to see that the matter has been taken in hand by His Excellency and I feel sure he will forgive me for attempting to strengthen his hands by adding my testimony to that of others on the subject.
