In receipt of your letter No. 227 of 2nd April 1880, respecting Mr. Hutchinson's application for an Assistant Mastership in the Central School, I directed it to be referred to J. Stewart, the Head Master and acting Hon. Secretary. You enclose with your letter a copy of Mr. Stewart's minute on the Despatch.
He records his high opinion of Mr. Hutchinson's qualifications for the post.
