14. The highest amount of Notes in Circulation during the year 1878 was $2,109,214, and the lowest amount $641,668.
15. The Denomination of Note issue is as follows: $100, $25, $5, and $1.
17. The Colonial Treasurer inspects the "Note issue" once a month.
The limit imposed on the holding of Land, Buildings by the Bank is not to exceed the yearly value of $32,000. Advances on Merchandise are left to the discretion of the Managers.
16. The amount of Bullion required to be held against the note issue is one-third of Note Circulation. The Shareholders are subject to unlimited liability in respect of the Notes issued, but the Bullion is not earmarked but would fall into the General Assets of the Bank.
19. The qualification necessary to make a Shareholder eligible for a Directorship is that he must be the registered holder of at least fifty shares.
20. The amount of Fixed Deposits on the 31st December 1878 was $3,429,271, and on 30th June 1879 was $2,448,402.
