In reply to the first enquiry I beg to state that we carry on our business in this Colony under a Royal Charter dated London 29th December 1855, a first supplementary Charter dated 20 July 1861, and a second supplementary Charter dated 10th November 1874.
With reference to the other information which you ask for we would refer you to our head Office in London, who have doubtless already been requested to furnish the same to Her Majesty's Treasury.
