In soply to your
letter of the 7th
October instant, and in obedience to the
Governor's commands I have the honour to submit the following
observations
Chief Justice Smale's declaration of the law on the occasion of his sentencing
of slavery
three persons for childotealing, and two persons for selling and purchasing a girl
for the purposes of prostitution.
