I have much pleasure in bearing testimony to Dr. E. H. Lineker's pro- fessional abilities, bath from personal experience and from observation among such cases of the labouring classes as have come under my notice. I would specially rewark on his attention and kindness in the sick room, and so far as my personal experience goes, on his courteousness and readiness to oblige. I believe him also to be a gentleman of considerable &quirements, independently of his professional ones, I have personally known Dr. Lineker ever since his arrival here.
