I have very great pleasure in testifying to Mr. E. H. Lineker's general medical qualifications. I believe him to possess a good medical mind- sound, safe, and practical; and during the last two years I have had the pleasure of knowing him, I have formed a very high opinion of his pro- fessional worth. He has daring that time sustained appointments of a responsible nature as surgeon to extensive iron mines in this district, and also as the medical officer to several Friendly Societies, and he has always conducted the duties thereof with discrimination, skill, credit, and general satisfaction, both to principals and patients. I wish him every success in his future career, and am persuaded that any appointment he may be called upon to occupy he will do credit to.
