GENERAL EXEMPTIONS.

Any Deed, Instrument or Writing of any kind whatsoevor made or excented by or on behalf of Her Majesty or of any De- partment of Her Majesty's Service, or whereby any Property or Interest is transferred to or any Contract of any kind whatsoever is made with Her Majesty or any Person for or on behalf of Her Majesty or any such Department as aforesaid.

Nors.-The foregoing exemption does not extend to any Deed, Instrument or Writing, executed by the Registrar of the Supreme Court as Official Administrator or by a Receiver appointed by any Court; neither does it ex- tend to a sale mude for the recovery of an arrear of Revenue or Rent or in satisfuction of a Decree or Order of Court, in any of which cases the purchaser shall be required to pay in addition to the purchase money the amount of the requisite Stamp.
