With reference to your letter of 18th
August instant Iam directed
by
the Administrator
to observe that the
state
was
security which
which you
furnished by a licensed Boarding House Master and which was, it appears, merely a verbal undertaking, is not recognized by any
Ordinance of this Colony,
and has got the
effect therefore of rendering the Boarding House Master liable for the expenses incurred by - Government on account of the Lunatie Lewis
