REPLY

TO

COMINFORM

CONDEMNATION

Belgrade, Jan. 10. -The Yugoslav Com- munists are believed to be about to open an intense ideological campaign to win world Communist and left-wing support for Marshal Tito.

The cam-

paign, aimed at Moscow, would be launched as a reply to the Cominform's most recent condemna- tion of the Yugoslav Communists as "Fascists."

Such, at least, is the interpretation placed here speeches and upon an increasing number of public articles in the press branding the Soviet leaders traitors to the Communist faith.

Amon

One senior Yugoslav Government official stated re cently that the issue todny is whether there is to be genuine democracy

Communist and parties, or whether they are to continue to take their orders from the Kremlin. Yugoslavia, he added, stands for democracy.
