All Day Bank Holiday Programme
From Radio Hongkong
Radio Hongkong will have an uninterrupted programme throughout the day on Bank Holiday, Highlight of the week is again in the World Theatre Series on Thursday from 9.11 p.m. when T. S. Eliot's Family Reunion will be broadcast with John Gielgud and Gladys Young heading a strong cast.
O
This is the Nobel Prize winner's haunting, compelling story of the Piper family, of their seat, Wishwood, and of the return, on the birthday of his austere, autocratic mother, of a son (played by Gielgud), who believes himself accursed. Gladys Young plays the mother and the production is by John Richmond.
